I like the micro lite smurf, but it must take you ages to do gutters having to strap the ladders to the ground? Could you not have just put the ladders against that little wall? What would you do on paved/concrete ground? For ppl that use a ladder to clear guttering and downspouts out by hand I use this aswell as mentioned in another post today https://www.windowcleaningforums.co.uk/topic/5195-clearing-downspouts-guttering-by-hand/

What do you think?
My pops has been up and down ladders for 25 years and never fell off them.. He did trip on a kerb in someone's garden while carrying ladders and whatever way he landed his baby finger broke and bent right round the wrong way ( if that makes sense )
Thing is when do you know when an accident will happen? You don't.. If your not silly or dont take silly risks just to save time then you will be fine up ladders.
I bought a brand new motorbike wen I was 17, day I drove it home my mum said that's too big for you, my reply was I'm fine mummy it's not like I'm going to crash.. 6 weeks later I was lying in hosptial on a life support machine...

I'm with you on this one smurf, Sadly some people won't be swayed from the ''it wont happen to me'' attitude, not having a dig at anybody but its just how it is. No matter how many stats, figures and stories, you'll always get the same response, ''If i'm working safe it wont happen to me'' well sadly it happens to those who are working safe as well. Just alot less likely to seriously injure yourself with some ppe,
If one should fall off the back of a lorry, it obviously wasn't strapped on properly. The company would obviously not be health & safety conscious. What damage could that do to an innocent pedestrian? If they can't strap the product on the lorry safely, I would not trust the product to be safe!I've asked a mate to see what make a well known company uses and if he can get hold of one for me that is if/when one should happen to fall of a back of a lorry. /emoticons/biggrin.png
