got some in my garden and trying to kill the bloody stuff!! Will hypo do it? Don't fancy paying out a loads if it'll do job. I know it'll kill everything but ill re seed the garden once its gone, so how long will hypo take to break down?

Hypo won't kill it but the salt left in the soil will help

Salt stops the plants taking up water but lasts ages in the soil

The hypo itself will be dead in an hour

Don't you need to like dig it out then get a really strong weed killer on the area ?

No point adding glyphosate (weedkiller) once just bits left as it breaks down in soil and works by being absorbed by the leaves

ive hacked t back, was thinking of pouring it correctly into the hollow stems to try and burn the root out, kill it that way.
Better off using copper sulphate to do that but no idea how long it would stay in the soil

You can use it in strong solution on roofs as a very effective long lasting biocide
