Deodar red label hypochlorite . Once we have cleaned gravel, how long before dogs can use? Do we need to rinse a lot after cleaning, or don’t use it??

We are going to use deosan red label hypochlorite on a gravel small enclosed garden!
Potentially a dog will be there? When would it become safe?

hi @Briony carr sorry i missed your post as we have been away for a few days, first things first, hopefully you have a watering can capable of holding five litres of water,
add 400ml of the deosan and top up to five litres with tap water stirr with a wooden spoon if you have one, this will make a weak dose so you may need to do this daily for a while, do this in a morning if you can as sunlight ie uv light breaks it all down to just common salt and is safe for the pet,
this is the little and often approach and works better when pets are around. hope this helps briony.
