Hi Guys,
I've been thinking of changing my van from my escort with 250 litre system to a Transit and fitting a 650 litre system. Anyway, the thought crossed my mind that I could keep my escort and lend it to a family member for 12 months and use a transit to expand unit I could split the work in two and use both vans. This is just hyperthetical thinking.
Anyway I went on confused.com with the details of a transit for sale by mine and got a quote for that van and then both vans. I live in quite a strange part of my town as it comes under one post code and name of the rough estate up the road but its actually not as bad and the bottom of my road changes post code to a nice part of my area. If I tell anyone where I live and the name of the town I live in they tell me I'm wrong and the road I live in is the nice area but I it's not.
Anyway, enough of that, I had a play around with the quotes and I decided to add the post code of a unit to see if having a unit would lower my quote. Low and behold. If I had both vans on the drive outside the unit it would cost me less than if I had one van at my address. If I had both vans and then got the unit the drop in insurance would pay half the months rent on the unit! I know there are other bills involved but what a wierd outcome.
