Hi all, little advise needed, since winter I seem to be getting more and more runs off the black sills.

I have tried the wagga son's technique but they are still appearing after I have gone in some instances!

I read on another thread that vision helps?? Don't know how but does it?

Any other advice would be great, this is my first proper winter so don't know if it's that or maybe I need a new brush but 5 gardiner brushes in a year I hope not!

Thanks for any input /emoticons/wink.png

its more than likely your technique mate,vision-the v2 version probably wouldn't help you at this moment in time,if it were me i would look closely at the way you rinse and your flow rate

Agree with kevin i would review and maybe alter your technique if the issue is with the glass , If you're talking grey run marks on lower part of white pvc frames then on lower windows Magic Eraser Sponges work a treat .

Yes that is what I mean, not much has change with my technique but only started happening recently so a little confused with that, I will try and slow the flow rate and see if that makes a difference, thanks for the replies.

Sorry it's the glass, it is the beading you get come off the black rubber.

It has only really started to happen the last couple of months since the wind and rain has got harder, I don't know if that is coincidence but it happens after I have left sometimes and leaves the grey marks on the glass!

I agree with the magic sponge even just a rub of my finger with my glove along the top seems to stop it so it is clearly water getting trapped in the seal but I don't know how to stop it!

Use the top edge of the brush to wipe them off and then rinse a few mm below the rubber
