Do you put a next due date on your payment slips ?

I'm considering taking it off mine as I'm always running late due to the amount of work I have and just having the cleaned date on them instead

No for the very reasons you have given plus the weather does  affect some of our costal work high winds and sea spray do prevent certain jobs being done when they are due .

I just have 'windows cleaned today' how much the charge is and my bank details on payment cards that are dropped through letter boxes. 

On the email invoice I do have a date listed but it does say approximately. I think it depends on your customers, I find older people write it down on a calendar so they 'know' when to expect you.

I find that there are too many variables in life to put myself under that sort of pressure. Also like PJJ some of my work is very dependant on wind as I am surrounded by the sea.

Went paperless years ago, text sms WhatsApp or email for me.

 I text my invoices, and never put the next date on the text.

Why put unnecessary pressure on yourself? What if you fancy a week off or get ill?
