It doesn't coil up, but you can kink to stop the flow. Slightly heavier than other pole hose but not too heavy. You'll need a JG barb and 'o' clip or similar as the O/S diameter is to big to slide into a straight JG.

I sort of like the sound of it but it looks like the old brodex hose except yellow, price wise it's tempting though

Lol I'm so easily persuaded, the brodex stuff was a nightmare but this is gardiners so I will :)

What are the hot water users prefering?
I'm currently on water genie yellow but once heated (and swollen) it does not go back to former shape.

Exceed blue, the tubeless stuff. Used with hot and I have 100 metres of it so from reel to pole
    It's good stuff IMO

I really tried with 30 metres of Gardiners reinforced hose for 3 or 4 weeks, on a reel with the Trolley. But I have give up with it and gone back to 'All season pole hose'. It seemed like the more I used it the more it would tangle ,twist and knot up. I really wanted it to work as it does look the part but , In my opinion its ****.
Pity you're not anywhere near Stoke mate you can come and collect it from mine :D
