Does your pole seem to get a kind of waxy feel on the sections, you know like lose its quick but rugged feel when moving the sections after a day or so's use?

I honestly dont get what you mean?

    Which slx do you have.

The new one with the weave effect, or the old design.............

Got an SLX-22. Bought in the sale. I'm not trying to slag it off but it seems odd. When brand new they make a noise like a zip as the section goes up and down. But after a bit of use it loses the zippy noise and seems to have like an oily coating instead of the dry feel.

    Make sense at all?
