First Clean

Hi all wonder whether you can advise me? I purchased a back pack which only gives me 8 mins of use before it needs more water.

When you are doing your first clean if I just used tap water to get the dirt of the window and the frame and then g back over it all with the di pure water is that going to leave marks?

Can I use the same back pack to do this or would I need different ones i.e one for tap water one for pure?

If your tap TDS is pretty low in your area you might get away with it but I don't recommend it.

Use a univalve

Wet the glass

Turn water off

Scrub glass well only pulling the univalve on for a second if you need a bit more water

Then turn water on to rinse the window down

The backpack will last ages

Backpacks are good for awkward access jobs but really you want a van mount as it will do your head in running out halfway through a job.

Man ! Dont go tap ! If its sunny youll get dried spots quick .

Cheers guys for advice. At the moment I dont have nay customers so will use this back pack till I generate some business. I will stay clear of using tap water..

Clarkes 1mm welding tips have a id of 0.8mm and give a more powerful rinse at a lower flow rate thus saving water
