    As above
Why didn't i do this sooner
The quicker i get a van and stop fannying about with drums the better as then i will have enough water to do bottoms as well without having to try to conserve it
I will still defend the tradders as it is a hard job up and down ladders all day but also am feeling it from holding a fibreglass pole in the air all day
Still gotta keep my squeegees as i do insides but the more wfp i can do the better
Did some in the rain without slippery rungs which was excellent
After first 2 houses I stopped checking my work as is drying clear
Can't believe i used to slate the stick wagglers

It's gonna be good Dave! You'll be flying soon,

Yep keep the trad alive! Always good to do a few houses trad where the wfp system isn't suited...

Once you get a carbon pole you'll find it much much easier and quicker

Once you get quick mate your round won't be enough for you. Its a wise move for a windy with an established round. At least you have lots of custies and trad skills to boot unlike the folk that spend 1000s before they've done their first job. Keep us informed how it progresses. And I think you're right, a van mount must be the way to go for it to work.

I will always keep my hand in with trad as i think it is a valuable skill in case of breakdowns etc
Also i still enjoy it even after 26 years
But i do have to say that wfp is a lot quicker for me on tops even after just 1 day and i am a quick tradder
I think the time spent moving ladders and changing tools etc takes longer than the extra time scrubbing the frames etc with wfp
Plus my custys are impressed by the extra clean frames even though i always clean them when trad

I'm sure a van would slow me down a bit tolish as have to pissarse about with hose etc but also not carrying water around is appealing
Going to a bni meeting next week with my mate as a guest
He has his own plumbing firm and went once and got in with the right people..now he spends over a grand a year to go but 1 job he got was worth 82k to him..hence why he has a villa in alicante for me to use
I'm not gonna go regularly unless it works but i am primarily going so he can introduce me to the people he knows including the guy who owns :turd:loads of car dealerships
Worth a punt and would be good to get a big contract to justify spending out on a van asap

I'm really happy for you daveyboy1 . I was trad, went wfp and have never looked back. Got a van, water on tap, its not hard work with hoses and you can still do an excellent job.

Glad to have you on the 'Dark' side.

I will always need a setup like i have now also as a lot of houses in this town only have access through the house
Don't want to be trailing my hose through houses
