Hi all,

What solutions do you use for new build cleans, ive looked at a job and its a bloody state with mortar all over glass and wood frames. searched quick online and found crete wash and concrete hammer but its bloody expensive. is there cheaper safe non acid concrete remover you can use. All help appreciated. cheers

Hi Ash, I have bought those before and found them to be worthless, for dried mortar and plaster I soak (and I mean soak) with soapy water then just tap at it softly with scraper with brand new blade. So far I have done fine with no damage to the glass surface.

if i was you id decline the job. any scratches that are already there done by a careless builder will be down to you- you wont see the scratches right now but once its all sparkley clean they will show up like a sore thumb
