Hi I'm very new to wfp and am completely blind as to maintaining my ro. Particularly as regards flushing my ro and how to do it. Am I right in leaving my pump on a timer to stop overheating? And is that ok with the tap still on? Please help a very perplexed 27 years of traditional window cleaning man!!!!

Hi dazz, don't use a pump myself so not sure, but a few minutes a day flushing is all that's needed, unless the membranes are new, in which case a couple of hours on first go, then the aforementioned.

You shouldn't flush RO with pump only tap pressure. 20 mins once a week for a 4040
