Starting in Window Cleaning with WFP

Just starting to get into WFP, I am looking at Gardiners equipment and their Ro water producing system PRF RO - Reverse Osmosis Unit with a SLX27 pole with QuicK-LoQ® Carbon Gooseneck 10" (25cm) 45° and Super-Lite Flocked brush.

Do you need the 10" gooseneck for any specific reason. They are very helpful in getting to recessed windows but not required for 99% of day to day jobs. It will also make your pole heavier and harder to control.

I thought if I bought it, I could use it when needed, you always need something if you don't have it
