    has any one got one of these r they any good also there is no flue on it so will it get my in side of the van sticky or any thing with the fumes??? ive not got barn doors so will have to b inside of van:rolleyes:

    I bought one a few years back from the states as no one sold them here at the time. Now everyone seems to be selling the bloody things :D

    Have a word with Njones as is very knowledgeable on the subject.

    For me using hot pure on first cleans makes my job so much easier. Also you can connect it directly to an outside tap if you wanted to save on pure when doing gutters, facsia etc then just go over the glass with pure afterwards

    You can't install this heater mate without leaving van doors open to let fumes escape.

    I got 3 of them fro that price a couple of years back - ordered direct from ecotemp in the USA!

    They're decent little heaters in many ways, but do require ventilation. There's no way of fitting a permanent flue to these, so its a case of leaving the back doors open. :(

    Personally, if I was setting up another heated system I'd do an immersion heater,.. its simpler, more reliable, less maintenance & cheaper to install in the first place with similar running costs. There's also no worries/insurance hassles about carrying a gas bottle in the van.
