if i conect my croc clips to the wires on my back pack will it charge or is this a bad ider

That backpack needs a max charger of 2 amps. Anything more will 'blow' the battery.

thanks spruce my charger is a 4 amp blady tipicle

It will be fine, I use a 6A smart charger for mine and have done for over 12 months. It's the cheap chinese chargers that damage the batteries.
