I was watching 1 of Wagga's videos were he has using magnetic signs for advertising on the side of his car-anyone else use mag signs for their car/van??

Not personally but know someone got a couple from vistaprint and they were dirt cheap and really good quality, only about a foot wide though.

I got one a few years ago off vista print think it was free.. That's a good thing about vista print, once you place your first order they will email you alot offering you free stuff

I think itmakes you look like a cowboy, all the gypsys use them up here the must have 5-6 different ones depending on what they fancy doing that day

Totally agree with Paulrods, looks unprofessional.

Also, they will damage your paintwork. I have seen the after effects of this and it aint pretty!. Small bits of dirt, dust and road grime get underneath the and start wearing away the paint.

Might be worth considering if you have a Swear word!py old van you plan to replace in 6 months and therefore isnt worthwhile getting proper decals done, but otherwise no.

I also agree with paul.

One day the use it for work, next day wip it off n rob ur garden of anythin metal

The best one I seen was tree surgery the van had bushes hanging out the door, he opened it up the van was empty lol he had put it there purposely

I've used them for 2 years and paintworks fine and had a few custys off them. I keep em on all week & bring them in at weekends & soak em in boiling water & there fine. Sign writtens ok but I always feel if yer van blows up (engine) or yer wanna sell it you got all that on it. The sticky letters you get from diy places are pretty good tho

iv got 3 magnets i had made at vista print for free

never used them ones look awesome on my fridge in the shed tho /emoticons/tongue.png lol

but tbh id rather just get work by someone seeing me me working than a Swear word!py van magnet

but thay look ok tbh i wouldn't use them tho.

to remove signwriting you can use a hairdryer (only reason i have for owning one now lol) just had mine signwritten by a frien of my stepson £70 cant go wrong at that price

i dont know about unprofessional, maybe the small vistaprint ones, but my old boss had full side size magnets on his escort van, looked super professional and got a lot of work from it, in fact the signs cost 115 and got a 120 cladding job off of them the first day they were on!

Vista print ones do the job and they work. Mine are straight to the point & to be honest if you want a windy you won't really worry what his signs are like imo

They look great on my van and when i want to sell it i wont lose £100`s because you can always see the out line when you take your sign writing off

I've got full length ones on my white van.Professional looking and blend in great, looks like its sign written and big enough for my website address, licensed insured etc. They also paid for themselves in the first couple of weeks.I also do a lot of travelling round the country so when I'm out of my area I just take them off so I'm not getting calls 100's of miles from home.

Magnetic signs are ok to get you going but decals are better. Plus I lost a few magnetic sings from them blowing off and kids stealing them. Just something to consider. I used VistaPrint, they were pretty cheap and quality was ok :)

That's a good point. If I look closely at my van I'm a photographer lol.
