Pump required for Honda GX340

Hi all,

New to the forum but been cleaning widows for way too long

Just looking for a bit of advice on good pump for my Honda gx340.

Bought the pressure washer second hand and the pump has gone straight away, so now looking for a replacement.

Anybody replace theirs and if so what did they replace with.

Really appreciate any feedback

Anyways depends on the budget really but go for interpump

Ws201 is a good model

Does it have a reduction gearbox?

Also I have one brand new Honda gx390 from my dad left

It's 21lpm with the above pump and gearbox

It will come with uploaded valve

Return to tank and hoses and filters

Waterfed hose and all hydraulic fittings

Lance and even a pa turbo nozzle

Dads stopped now retired fully

Thats a great price price for that piece of kit, but Im in good old Ireland

The washer has a kew pump on it and theres no reduction gear box.

Do you have to have a reduction gearbox with the interpump.

Sorry for my ignorance.

I had an interpump before on a 13hp honda gx390 and it had the reduction gearbox.

It's not totally neccasory for a gearbox but advisable unless it's just for odd job

Honda do not make pressure washers they make engines!

What the gearbox will do is reduce the rpm the engine produces and prolong your expensive pump

To be honest there pretty straight forward machine

Engine-pump or

Engine -gearbox-pump

If you have the engine it wouldn't be to difficult to add a gearbox and pump a lot cheaper than getting a new machine

Look on eBay sometimes bargains
