How much do you fill your tank up

It's maybe a bit of a silly question but when u had my system in my trailer when I filled my tank up to about 3 inches from the top the water would leak out at the top where the screw top is. So the question is how much do you fill it up thanks.

Up to the top. Put a plaggy bag over the hole and screw lid on to stop leaks.

Do you not have to remove the bag before you start to use the water though?

i have the hole in the middle of my lid, i fill it with a spare microfibre cloth bunged in the central hole., pull it out to fill up, etc, it saves you having to take lid off all the time, keep cap on all the time. just put hosepipe in central hole in the screw cap. the central cap screws out.

To the top, always leave a trail to first job from the overflow.

I drilled an 8mm hole in the top of the tank, pushed about 12" length of pole hose in it and siliconed round the joint for a breather pipe.

I have 650 liter tank. I always fill to the top. You never know what that day will bring.
