For big office blocks window after window this is a fantastic idea also those with back problems may find these useful , just when you think nothing else can be invented so smart person goes and invents it

It's crazy how people think of these ideas but it's not rocket science , could probably make these very easily yourself [emoji106]

One thing, I don't think you would be able to hold it as securely as you would normally if you get what I mean

All it takes is a gust of wind and you need hold of the pole properly, I've had it gust ing with a 65 ft pole and it's not easy to control so I know what you meen

The handle on the pole is another one of Hermans ideas taken further by someone else...in this case Perry Tait......

....much like the Quik-Loq system...another of Hermans ideas taken further by Alex Gardiner.

It's a shame Herman doesn't get more recognition for his ideas.

Herman made a video of the handle on the pole a while ago.....think it's on here somewhere.

I think it's bad that these companies take the ideas off Herman !!!

I f the handles work then good idea. Anything that prevents an injury is good, especially if its going to prevent gradual wear and tear, that you dont notice until its too late and then your head is frozen looking up in the sky, and you walk pass people and they look up at the sky wondering what your looking at:rolleyes:. My idea is sitting in an electric wheelchair with the pole fixed and you just use the joystick- forwards , backwards, side to side, cappuccino in the drinks holder, job done.

There doesnt seem to be any advice about using wfp at height and injury prevention, I pity guys who work for commercial companies that have to do a 8 hour day using a 60ft pole,5 days a week, dont think thats a wise idea. Hopefully they do have some sort of system for breaks, where they can look at their shoes for 10 minutes. I dont know if there are any H&S recognized guidelines to protect employees. If you work for your self then its up to you what damage you do to yourself though:eek:.

TBH I'm usually sceptical when Perry Tait (or whatever his real name is) gets involved in anything window cleaning related. He isn't a window cleaner and never has been one. He found a business opportunity to sell Water Fed Poles when his previous Australian computer supply business (some called it a scam) went belly up when many paid for computers weren't delivered.

Yes, he has made some very informative videos - the one especially when he does a practical demonstration on the number of passes needed to clean a dirty window properly - but he has no wfp cleaning skills when working at height. Everything about his business is marketing related. Alex is an experienced window cleaner by comparison.

So he is is looking for a new angle to make money. If there was more money selling tomatoes then that's what he would be selling. I very much doubt that Perry's ideas come from Perry's own experience; it will be what he has gleaned from others and listening to what they think.

He's first and foremost a showman.

Just to clarify re the Quick-LoQ - we did not take this idea off of H Man. Rather, he asked on a public forum for some firm to develop the idea. After much personal communication with H Man and integration with our own product design, we eventually brought out the finished article. The mouldings are eye wateringly expensive but we felt it was worth doing because eventually we will see a return on this investment.

The question is are you floppy or stiff?[media]

Once, while cleaning a house WFP, the bloke was watching me and asked if I liked dancing. No, why I asked. He said that while I was cleaning my feet were doing the foxtrot

And just to clarify to Neil and Alex Gardiner....I did not say these people 'TOOK' Herman's ideas, I said that Herman's ideas were taken further.......in hind-sight, maybe I should've used the words.... 'Which was further developed' ...not 'taken' .

Herman was the 'originator' .

Alex Gardiner........It wasn't meant to cause any slur to your good name and reputation :thumbsup:.....

as-for Perry Tait, many other people have beaten me too that  .

Now we know the quick-lock was not stolen neither has perry stolen the pole handle! pole control handles have been around a long time!

everything perry does is a sham, these vids and his campaign is leading up to something more than those handles,is the doctor really a doctor?not seen many with shaven heads and tatoos recently if i am honest,

Not according to herman you didn`t alex!, herman says the only communication via email from you was that you would send him some over to try! when the product was finished,
