Stupid question probably but the delightful chaps at the WCW delivered my UNIVALVE today with no o clips and zero paperwork (helpful). I've also taken delivery of an SLX 22 Gardiner pole.

Am I right in pushing that into one end of the UV and the other into the regular pole hose?

Have attached a pic below before I go get the clips to clamp it shut.

Also, what's the recommended size for the clips?

    Thanks guys

Remember to put an o ring at the end of your angle adapter where the hose comes out so you don't pull the pole hose of the y divider.

size 7-9mm for the clips, which are measured by the outer diameter.

Looks good. The only thing to remember as I recall when fitting it was making sure the moving part of the univalve points to the bottom of the pole. I guess that's why they make it in red now. Makes it kinda obvious which end is which. :D

Looks like the univalve is going straight onto your main hose as opposed to another length of pole hose? If that's right it will be hard to detach when needed and make the pole abit heavier.

That's just for the example purposes. It will be fitted to the pole hose when I assemble it properly. Just that has a clip on it I need to remove so I couldn't show it as a complete connection :)

Are you going to fit your pole with a tubeless kit? Well worth considering if you're not already.
