    Good evening
Just got myself a TDS meter and water out of of tap is 350, water butt is 49.

I've a few houses to clean and looking to get a Gardiner back pack and pole from them ? Not sure on pencil or fan jet?

But what would be best as i have a few houses and currently do it traditionally

Would I just di vessel rain water, just have di vessel or 2 of them or try get an to.

As I have little work still doing a full time job didn't want to invest loads.

    Hear from you all.

    Kind regards

Yer water butt water at 049 you would only need a di.

Yer tap water you would need a ro although you could use twin di but you'd go through resin quicker.

Just be careful with stored rainwater I used to do it from a but through 1 di vessel. Ended up in hospital and 7 months off work with chronic pancreatitis never found caurse but after a lot of research legionaires can caurse it . Now use tap through a r/o

Legionnaires Bacteria can form in any stored water (purified or not) system/tank IF the conditions are right...not just stored 'rainwater'.

One of the most common cause of Pancreatitis is long term over-indulgence of alcohol.....

not alcohol related ....My point being rain water is not clean to start with after running down gutters into butts plus likely to keep rainwater longer in larger quantities as never know when its going to rain again where as originating from tap should be safe and no need to store more than a day or two so cutting down on risk

Didn't say yours 'was' alcohol related, and no offence meant .

The rainwater running off my slate roof, then onto a flat roof into gutter and then downpipe has a PPM of between 002 (after 5mins of continuous rain) and has been as high as 010ppm when tested during a short shower.

Nothing wrong with storing rainwater in large quantities, as there is a right-way and a wrong-way to safely store water and minimise any risk of bacterial growth.

Never knowing when it's going to rain again is not a problem in this Country ;), If rainwater harvesters ever run-low on their harvested water, they the can always revert back to purifying mains tap water to fill their storage tanks.
