Have just finished my DIY backpack.
Have followed jimmy boots diagram on how to wire it up & it all works perfect. On & off switch works & flow control works.
1 problem I have is on my flow controler is a red led light. This is staying on all the time weather I turn the flow up or down. Is this normal & will it deaden the battery.
    Any ideas?

    Yes, of course it will.
You should wire in an on/off switch straight after the battery, before the flow controller or anything else.

Does the red light not come on when the flow has been stopped while pump is still running. May be a blockage somewhere.

On jimmy boots drawing I've done exactly the same. His flow control is after his battery then to his on/off switch so its not that.

Yes it stays on even when flow controler is turned off. Somewhere I must have a wire crossed but I've double checked it & it is the same as jimmy boots

Also the on/off switch turns the flow controller off but this light stays on.

Power switch should be straight after battery then go to pulse modulator.

Otherwise pulse modulator will constantly have power, hence the red light.;)

If light stays on, it's not off.
