WCF

Help Support WCF:

Another problem is when I leave me 120w watt heater running the invertor cuts off and start making a rining noise after about an hour or less. Any ideas whats wrong?
is it over heating and cutting out? maybe battery is running low, some have an alarm on to warn of this.

Im not entirely sure, I throo out the box and instructions for it too so cant check them lol.

Process of elimination it is then

The 120w only runs so long then the invertor screws up so ive not had a chance to leave it on all night
What size/make leisure battery have you got, and how old is it?

What make inverter have you got.....please don't say it's one of them cheap Chinese ones  .

If the inverter's alarm sounds and then turns off, it sounds like the battery is low on charge.

I think an inverter will only allow a battery to discharge 80% of it's total capacity, so as not to completely drain the battery.

The older the leisure battery, the less likley it will hold a full charge to start with.

Mmmmm, got me baffled (I'm no electrician by the way).

Even if your battery was 20% less than 75AH, it should more than enough for those heaters .

What make inverter is it?

If it's one of those Chinese ones.....there could be your problem.

It may say 300 Watt, but don't be suprised it may only be 100Watt peak.

These are the battery's I have along with a Ring 3000 Watt inverter in my valeting van.

(They are 110 ah Guaranteed and falls in line with new E.U directive unlike other makes)....
