    Hi & welcome:thumbsup:

I've found purefreedom a good company to buy bits from but think a 350 litre tank van system is too small myself for the type of jobs I do.

Thats what i was thinking i don't want to buy something that i will have to replace. I have a budget of roughly 5k for van and system.just want to get the best combination for my money!

To save money you could go down the diy route and build a van mount yourself. As after all they are just off the shelf components that companies can charge a lot more for when sold as a built unit.

Hey Moose, my advice is go 500L minimum (unlesss you are close enough to home to go top up when need be from a static tank)

My set up is Renault Trafic 2.0L 2007 - £2700 used.

Brodex 500L system with 4 poles and plenty of goodies £1600 used. It does only have a 20 inch RO that I keep planning to upgrade to a 40 but then I get side tracked by a forum or butterflies or that fit birds as$ at number 17 due for a window clean tomorrow or just butterflies.

When I bought a used system I made sure I had cash for new filters and resins where needed as obviously that is key to pure water.

Do a little homework, do not rush to get the first toy you see, If you can go brand new all the way that's your choice but second hand has never bothered me as there are plenty out there that quit the day job buy all the gear and then realize you have to actually go and get customers and do the work, they go back to day job and sell hardly used kit on eBay.

    Happy hunting sir!

You're welcome mate my top tips are

Tanks should be baffled (makes you less seasick)

Pumps - Best you can get

    Digital controller

But the real money has to go on filtration after all pure water is the game.

Do not rush out buying £1000 poles cause they look good in the van, buy whats suitable for the majority of your work for now, the posh toys come once the business is paying for itself!
