Hi, new to the forum. Needing Advice on auto fill/flush ro. Online TDS.

Hi, hope you all had a great new year.

I'm new to the forum and I'm after a little advice or links if its been discussed before.

I've just installed a 40/40 ro. I've seen set ups on YouTube with auto fill and flush. With boaster pump. 

Has anyone got a link that they recommend for this? 

Also wanting to put in a inline TDS. Ideally one that has two or three inputs. So I can see the water at multiple points though out the process.

Also I'd like a pressure gauge.

Twin TDS meters are available from many reputable dealers, a pressure guage could be had from a plumbing or irrigation supplier. The TDS meters are easy to fit.

No idea about auto gubbins, that's just more stuff to go wrong in my humble opinion.

I have a 40/40 Ro. My inline TDS meter was from Daqua. So it has two probes. One before the membrane. One to measure the TDS after Resin before it goes into ibc tank. 
As regards flushing, I don’t need a booster pump as my pressure is 80psi. So I flush everyday when I fill the van maybe 10 mins everyday. Using the gate valve it flushes as it fills, nothing auto. Then if I want on a Saturday I can turn the valve and flush for an hour or so. I do have the auto mode when ibc is full, it switches system off. 
do you definitely need a booster pump? If so I would ring Doug at Daqua so helpful to me. Top man. He will help you and talk you through the options.

If the pressure gauge is to test your tap water pressure, Screwfix sell them.

Won't both with auto flush - its very expensive. Most who are conscious flushes flush their membrane when before they start to purify water. You will need to flush for an extended time when fitting a new membrane as it takes a while to flush all the preservative out.

That must be where mine are Bruce, I asked your advice, and followed it. Sorry for confusion

Just remember squeaky clean Dave on youtube has a video on how to automate everything. Looks like your splashing the cash then. Check it out, I watched it one of the days.

I've seen that video, ideally something like that. Just wondering if there was any more recommendations of anyone else has used anything else

As long as you will flush the membrane regularly then the auto fill is very simple.

You just need a float switch and a 12v Normally closed solenoid valve and a blade fuse. basically you wire from +12v battery terminal through the fuse through the float switch to the +12v terminal of the solenoid. Then connect the other side of the solenoid to the chassis or 0V terminal of battery. Then when water level is below tank max inlet opens to allow water in. When tank full inlet is shut off.

Hope that makes sense?

I've got a static system, but would of thought it would be the same just the 240v
