Hypo Advice

I've used hypo a few times in the past on block paving and paving slabs with good results. Got a job to do this weekend which is all block paving apart from a centre piece that looks like this below. It is borderline line black with dirt and has lichen all over. I wished I'd got a photograph of it because the stone could be different. Basically what I'm trying to ask, is there any types of stone that I need to avoid using hypo on?

Sometimes you get red streaks which I think is iron ??

I've had a few Tarmac issues so I would avoid that

ha so how are you supposed to get the lichen off your bell end?

I've been looking at Indian Stone and it seems it can come in a few varieties. I've found an example of some below that looks similar to what I'll be doing on Sunday.

I'm no paving expert, is there anyway to identify Indian Stone? How does the Hypo react with it? What should I be looking out for? I thought the red streaks came from when using acid based cleaners? Does hypo also react with metals in stone?

Ha go to docs mate

Tbh I don't know either I'm just learning it all

Mark cave - Facebook Softwash UK is the source of all wisdom
