hose reel

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I don't know how much hose you are planning on using. I use two lengths depending on the job at hand. 15mtrs or 25mtrs. If you are using PVC or PU pole hose only this can be carried in the hand easily without the need for a reel.

A reel has the tendency to put a coil in a hose that can be tricky to deal with.

Here's my setup with 25mtrs Gardiners green PU hose.

I can see how having a reel could be helpful if you are winding in an out frequently.

As almost all of my work is compact and on the flat, once it's laid out my hose stays laid out for long periods, so hand coiling it is more practical for me. My advice would be don't use PU hose as it is not likely to lay flat once put on a small reel such as you would need for the Freedom trolley.

I think there are one or two on this forum who have put a reel on a freedom trolley. Hopefully they will chip in when they see the thread
