Ibc tank cleaning

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I bought one that has been sterilised after being used allegedly for corn product. Oil maybe.

So my RO output is about 14 to 18ppm all good. But after the first 9 inches went in the tank I was getting 84 ppm on the output. Have let that out and next  I will try to fill the whole tank and see what I get. If still rubbish I will flush and repeat, if still no good will bite the bullet and get another IBC.

The ibc is a freebie, suppose there’s no harm getting it, cleaning it, rinse it then repeat a few times. If the ppm is still coming out high I will simply pass the tank on to someone who can make use of it. Nothing ventured nothing gained [emoji38]

Got one used for free,it was not worth it for the amount of work needed to get it cleaned. I used far too much time on it, even building a surface skimmer to get rid of the oil.. just buy a properly cleaned one
