I've used a few in the past like avg, mcaffee, norton... A really good one that I use now is malwarebytes.. I have an old laptop sitting in the cupboard which has XP operating system and was as slow as a tortoise.. Installed malwarebytes(free) version and it's now like a rocket... It scans the hard drive and seeks out all the rubbish, you then simply quarantine registries after the scan and that's it... Very good program
