I need a static tank for the garage, so looking at a 1000ltr ibc. Loads on ebay but after they have been used, can you get them clean enough for the pure water not to be contaminated?

Is it ok if you have something that was a water based product and clean it out? how would you clean it properly?

Thanks

If you are patient and methodical, you can clean it with a cloth secured to a stick, but be careful not to drop it into the tank. I suggest if you do this then secure a long piece of string to the handle and tie it up on the ibc tank frame. If you drop it, its easly to retrieve.

We cleaned ours out with Fairy liquid and rinsed it out several times with a hoselok jet on the hose pipe and tap water.

I was going to fill the IBC with pure and then drain it out and start again. I never did as the water tds was zero. I checked it by cleaning our windows at home - perfect.
