Would you buy black or clear tank for your van and why ?
Thinking of buying black but would not be able to see how much water is left so not too sure or is there some sort of gauge I can get for the tank outlet screw either before or after tap ?
    Cheers

Why get black ? yes clear ones do eventually build up algae but it takes a while and cleans easily

This is my new custom made black tank. with a sight gauge built in to see how much water is in. Best of both worlds.

Black was my idea to stop the algae.
But would not be able to see water level so pro and con unless there is something to put on tap to tell level any one have black ?
If so how do you find it

Mine has extras in it, like an immersion heater built in, and it's also completely insulated.

But for the standard tank I think it's about the £600 mark.

Steven Scargill is his name, he used to be the head fabricator ar ionics systems so he knows his stuff. here's his website.

It gives me warm water all day at about a cost of £2 per day in electricity, so for me it's well worth it.

    It's a tank for life. :)
