I am after a 12v inverter to run my 1250w vacuum and found a 1000-2000w one and its states 2000w is peak.

    Will this be ok?

The vacuum will run for maybe 10-15 minutes tops in one hit.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Why no use a generator?

That will drain you battery if it works

I have loads of batteries kicking around from stripping cars so its cheaper for me, plus I don't have a van yet, im running from the car so easier to use it this way.

Was going to pop a few batteries in and a split relay.
