No way! We had 6 guys out full time at my last work, on 2 of the weeks of the month we would have 7 out. After the recession. Hes now down to 4 guys, he lost a lot of good quality work.

nothings recession proof, but statistically the cleaning industry has fared quite well compared to others, im not sure why really?

The other side of it is that in a recession lots of guys lose their jobs and decide that window cleaning is a good way to keep some money coming in, so we all end up chasing the same work. It's not recession proof but compared to many other things it is pretty stable.
