My neigbour is a traffic warden and informed me today a window cleaner can legally park anywhere with no disc or ticket if he puts "window cleaner working" on there dash board, there is no other profession who can do this apart from emergency services, so get yourself a nice sign made boys /emoticons/biggrin.png

It came about because I asked him for a parking permit for town then he told me that info

Notes displayed in vehicles, by trades people for example, are not acceptable alternatives to visitors’ permits.  The only exception is window cleaners, who should display the address where they are working.

Got that of a council web site

I'm 100% for Cumbria I just done a search on google and a few other councils also do it, contact your local council or ask a warden Brighton and hove do it also

I dont need to park on any yellow lines anyway /emoticons/biggrin.png all my hosues are on housing estates.... i park on my customers drive on most jobs /emoticons/smile.png lol

Worth a try BC nothing to loose bud, I know here in Cumbria it's all parking permits for estates near town sonthey can expect windys to have one for each estate
