So the wind was mental in Welwyn Garden City today.
Got to 12:30 and had to call it a day, once my ladder started skidding on the seals.
Any one have to jack it in today?

Very cold, wet and windy up the road in Stevenage. Pole was blowing about a bit at times but I managed to get everything done.

    3rd floor daveyboy .
    I feel slightly demasculated.
Hate it when it seems to feel calm then suddenly reminds you its in for the day.

I called it a day at 10:30 then went back out at 12:00. Sleet mid afternoon so just hid in a porch till it blew over. Got all done at 16:15.

    I came home about 13.30
Started about 09.45 and did a full exterior clean which took just under 4 hours including hiding in the motor a few times so realistically about 3 and a half
Went back out about an hour ago and did 3 i needed to get done
Now only 23 to do tomorrow lol

I was close to jacking after first customer this morning, snow showers, strong wind gusts, webasto heater playing up, hosefitting broke on me, hose reel fell over in strong wind bent handle, rectus fitting pulled apart and to crimp a new clip on in customers yard, and to top it off I could not back in the lane behind the terrace I was doing so had to run 90 metres of hose up the bloody lane to do 4 windows as workman coned it off for somet or other. But I rode the storm, had a smoke and apart from the weather got most other things sorted! Glad to be home though, not my finest day out lol! But cash in the pocket and looking forward to the pub later!!! Lets hope for a better day tomorrow
