We talking windows built up with lead and glass or glass with lead stuck on? The latter don't take any longer than the the same Windows without lead, so I don't charge any more for them. I just use a flocked brush to reduce risk of lifting the lead and crack on. The former I haven't seen in years so have never tackled them with WFP. I imagine they would leak like the proverbial seive.

Gardiner's Ultimate. Haven't tried others so can't compare it. I like the relatively short bristles on the ultimate. Makes it work well on a swivel

I have a house with proper leaded lights and they are really delicate and leak every time. A give the pane a quick splash, rub, and then a very quick rinse. You can see the water dripping down inside everytime. Custy never says owt about it.
