Hi ,

I've just set my RO Filter up today and I have let it run for a couple of hours , I have attached the blue hose to the "in" screwhole on the DI filter and the white hose to the "out" hole . The DI fills up with water and then the "in" hole starts leaking and no water is coming out of the "out" hose.

Does anyone know why this would be?

Thank you

Must be a blockage somewhere, so water is going in and pressure is building up as its not coming out so thats what its leaking out of the inlet.

Ive never really looked inside a D.i vessel (assuming thats what you have?) but im sure if you take it apart you can figure it out

im guessing with your talk of blue and white hose this is some sort of system you have installed and not a regular d.i vessel?

what exactly do you have? post a pic

Thanks for your replies,

Dont'tlaugh , i still had the blue clips on the hose connectors . Doh. I still need to use PTFE tape but will do so once my filter is in its permanent position

all sorted now though and have pure water ready to use for the first time tomorrow on a conservatory roof!!
