Mine is reading 001. What's the maximum reading before the resin needs changing?

Ahh, cheers guys. I live in a soft water area and take the water with me, but I work in a hard water area. Will the hard water 'kill' the resin if I fill up with it? I take my vessel with me incase I need an emergency fill up btw.

If the tap tds is higher, it will use up the resin faster, but if the water is supplied by the same board, I can't see why it would be much different.

some people say 10-20 after that it goes down hill pretty quick as you know that you lengthen the life if you was to add a RO to it

Trust me, the TDS can vary hugely even in the same area with the same water board. My reading is 352-354, but my Mums less than half a mile down the road is 199-201, which is why I rigged my RO system up at hers lol. Reckon my tap water's comin direct from the sewer lol
