Burst Hose!

Just filling my van up when some gippos skidded on my hose and burst it.

Then they had the cheek to turn round to me and have a go at me for leaving it in the road!

How long does it take to fill your van and what size tank?

I need to change our setup, its taking an hour todo 400L its only hose pipe from tanks to vans!

yer u do! it only takes me about 10 minutes to fill me van up!

i use a sub pump in the ibc tank.

I use twin DI takes me 30-40 mins to fill and that's a 350. Would love an IBC and transfer pump but no space! If everything goes to plan this year I will have a unit to store water and van!

Damo are u DI only? Or RO-IBC-DI?!

mines: - tap - RO - DI - IBC

then pump to van as and when.

SO what i think i will do is do what RC does.

works for me, that way you can use any pump to fill the van up!

Well i have got about 30 meters of 32mm internal hose pipe (reinforced with wire) So gonna give that a go.

But tbh, i am looking at maybe getting a unit now this year.

That way i can go 40/40 and also sell water, as somebody will be at unit most of the time.

Probably a pipe dream !
