Milky Water

    I just cleaned white plastic fronts under window and made water go milky. Anyone no what it is and should i be worried!

    Old upvc that's not been cleaned in ages. It will come clean.

    Ta. Will it is stain on windows or is it fine if rinse off well?

    it will show up on windows and you wil have to redo them, try trad or dont do them, i had a job that was always like that, dumped it in the end

    oxidation that is mate, better to clean it off by hand with some solvent. Or scrub like made with wfp

    Very common on cladding and some old plastic frames that havent been cleaned for ages. Like Talor mentioned it's oxidation so can either use pure water and rinse well or like I do wet area down first, spray some ubik on the brush head, brush over the plastic then rinse until the runoff water goes clear....Simples :Image9:

    Does all upvc eventually go like this or is it just how the old upvc was made?
