This will show you how to make a lesser angle on the handle to the squeegee channel.
After this modification the squeegee should be easier to use by hand and on a pole.

    Hi H MAN

Does that mod make much difference? Is that what you do to all your wagtails now?

    Smurf,
I will be doing it with the old Wagtail handle and using them now.
Have been using this conversion for a week now continually to see if it is up to scratch.
Have had no problems in regard to stress on hands, forearms etc.
All I can say is try it you will notice it right away.
Then you will know what I'm taking about.

    Cheers bud...
Might give it a go and also might be worth mentioning to mr wagtail 20 degree angle works better than 40 degree for pole work like you say ;)

cant see the point of this, on mine I have a goose neck and dont have any issue's at all. And I use an elbow type thing to.

I only use my wagtail for pole work.

Sorry I might be missing the point on this.

I always found the angle set on the watgail a pain in the **** myself when using by hand or even when using it with an angle crank on a pole. Might be just me but I've found other trad tools are easier to use.
