What are these then?sharp blade or fine flat bladed screwdriver and lift the clip above the recess in the channel. It will then slide off... with difficulty...
Liquidator 2 clips. Channel now has a groove cut into it that the clip snaps into. No way it will come off. What are these then?
OK. ThanksLiquidator 2 clips. Channel now has a groove cut into it that the clip snaps into. No way it will come off.
Does this mean you can't cut the channels down?Liquidator 2 clips. Channel now has a groove cut into it that the clip snaps into. No way it will come off.
The new clips are designed to snap fit onto the channel which with the current model now has a small groove cut into each end to accomodate the clip extrusion. So with a little bit of careful filing...yes they'll fit just fine. DO NOT buy the end clips of Cleaning Spot. They are charging nearly 11 quid a pair, totally deluded. WCW is charging a much more civilised 2 quid...per pair I think...you'll have to email them to get a link though as a search on their site doesn't seem to bring it up. Remember to order the V2 Clips not the originals.Sorry guys - I'm late on this one.But does this mean that if I get 2.0 end clips I can get them on to the old, original liquidatorchannel?

No major difference. If anything they are a little more forgiving. Rubber still moves on me occasionally. I like your idea of the green Unger clips. Bob uses short pieces of wire. It's not a biggie for me but it would add a touch of security. My other thought is that if I put a stop on either side of the Excelerator handle it would secure it and stop any movement because it's the handle moving that moves the rubber...Thanks Eric!Have you experienced a big difference by using v.2 end clips? Are they much better then v.1? The only complaint I have is that rubber moves in the channel. But I've started to use the green Unger clips. Works absolutely fine. And now with the Exceleratorhandle... The liquidator slowly becomes a first choice in my setup.
Absolutely no way will there be any prototypes out there for sale...the button locked the opposite way. Swivel had the button protruding down and the angle change mech had a bit of free play in it. Honestly Keefo there were very few made so you'll be totally fine ordering a current production one from any retailer. Is there a way of knowing by the photos on a website or indeed asking the supplier which Excelerator handle they have in regards in being the prototype, which a few seem to have been given when bought intead of the finished version. I remember one of the posts that somebody had his swapped after been given the incorrect one.Eric, Peter Erken has them showing on his website now but not the new 2.0 channels/clips. I'll ask him tomorrow.
