Trad pole work

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Harris decorators pole from b&q £15

Unger optiloc cone and adjustable crank about the same

Job done

I did post one of waggas vids how to make the end fit but can't find it now

I will see if i can find it on youtube

Even moerman handles fit

As far as i know ettore are the only handles that don't fit

They should but how long is it?

Depends if the end is the optiloc cone or the older ones with no taper which aren't as good for certain handles

The harris pole is 5m and i have managed to trad a townhouse in the past with no ladder using it

Are most squeegees and t bars push fit ends as was planning to use my purdy poles (screwfit end) for any trad work.

Also do most have separate t bar and squeegee or use a wagtail?

Thanks Dan

@daveyboy have you ever seen/used the 8m lewi trad pole? Thinking of getting one as a backup just in case I run out of water as ive picked up a few 3 storey jobs recently. Need a bit of practice 1st with my exelerator, and also how hard is it to use one at higher levels? My goal for the year is to master trad pole work so I only have to get ladders off for gutter clearing (tried and disliked gutter vacs, like to see what I'm doing lol)

Never tried a lewi pole mate

It isn't easy at high level but once ypu have it sussed it will be worth the effort

Best to learn with a 10" as that is a lot easier
