Starting out making water advice!

Hi guys

After years of buying, I'm going to do my own as I got a cracking deal on some gear.

I have the IBC tank, submersible pump, hose, RO unit (DI in van) and all the filters, just need to wait for the last bits to come.

Is there any advice you can give on lessons you have learnt when setting up doing your own water?

Make sure the lid on the IBC is not too tight or when making water it will suck it's self in.

Make sure you lag all the pipes if it is outside or even in a shed or garage.

Other than that remember to rinse your RO unit and if you have a softner (salt) make sure you do regular back washes.
