Novel use of a hop up

I discovered a novel use of a hop up today as you do

I tend to grab the highest rung I can and haul myself up. Like you say, not easy when you're a bat fastard

I used the hop up so I could get on the ladder then removed a broken bit of tile first. Then re-seated the corner joint as what I thought looked to be leaking.

It turns out water is going down the back of the fascia.

Just wedge my gut in the gap and shimmey up

I could not get me feet in the gap let alone me gut until I used me hop up. Then it still was a bit of a struggle for an old fb like me /emoticons/biggrin.png
