Talking to a woman who's husband still trades. She was saying wfp doesn't clean windows right and Trade is the best way. I said you are not allowed to work from ladders and she jumped in that her husband got pulled up with the police for running around ledges high up. I wonder if he fell and she had to visit him in the hospital would she change her mind? ?

I believe that like for like, as in two expert operators with the dedication and skill to use their equipment to the full, it's quite impossible for a trad operator to match the wfp operator in the results achievable.

Reasons : trad is re-using the same water. No tradder is going to use a fresh bucket for each window. Trad surely cannot actually thoroughly flush out the vents, the edges of the openers, the expansion joints between the frames and sills and the other nooks and crannies we come across in the way that a constant flow under pressure can. Also trad surely has to leave a microscopic film of lubricant on the glass which future dirt and dust will stick to sooner, meaning that the glass will be dirty again quicker.

I have never used trad so I may be wrong but I doubt it.

As you know I'm a noob. I bought some trad gear so that I can teach myself and have the capability to do inside cleans, if I decide to when covid is less iffy. So I have been practicing on my own windows. I have found that if I trad clean the outsides then a couple of days later wfp the same window I can see the soap bubbles, from the trad clean, foaming up. Not massively but definitely there.

So, with my inexperience, I would say trad leaves some soap residue behind that will attract dirt.

I cant see how it can be otherwise. Someone with more experience and knowledge will enlighten us, I'm sure. ??
What you have said is quite correct , trad has its place but wfp is far more efficient and gives better results for  longer , I have been to quote this building today for an existing customer all 4 floors are done trad , I did clean a handful of windows for them to see the results it was like a foam party all the residual soap coming out of the rubbers and frames ???

You just need enough soap in the water to get the squeegee to glide. We are told that adding soap into the water has very little to do with actually cleaning the glass; it's to add slip to the squeegee blade. And yes, there is a thin film of soap residue left behind on the glass that attracts dust and dirt. This is why a trad cleaner scheduled and priced window cleaning every 2 weeks as the windows needed cleaning every 2 weeks.
