I have just striped down my Xtreme 18f pole to fit the new smart clamps. This pole is one of the first Xtremes being purchased in Oct 2011 on close inspection there is hardly any wear at all on any of the sections all sections are the originals. What a grate product. As well as the brilliant customer service.

I've used Gardiner poles for years. Changed them a few times and agree with Spanish Pete. .outstanding product and excellent service. Especially after one pole failed and they delivered replacement the next day. Only problem is grit on the pole hose getting inside and then onto the poles causing damage. Anyone else have this problem? Could do with inventing a circullar brush or sponge that fits in the end cap to clean hose as you extend pole. Perhaps I could make a million patenting it!!!

I would agree, they are simply the best poles-and yes, you should invent your little brush idea-I know I'd buy one!
