I have been recommended to a canvasser who charges the going rate i.e. 3 times the revenue income. Has anyone got any recommendations or experiences as I know there are a lot of cowboys out there? Thanks.

3x for fresh canvassed work seems rather steep in my opinion. Look on gumtree and the like and you can find established work fo 3x for a quick sale.

    On www.windowcleaningroundsforsale.co.uk established rounds sell fo 5x - 12x

But as I said 3x for a canvasser is too much.

Where are you located Pepsi ?

I've just used kapre. With them they charge 3x but don't cover cancellations. He did canvass me an extra 100 on top.

Imo it is expensive and risky compared to other company's as with the no cancellation policy and there are canvassers who offer a better deal.

That said they supplied what they said they would and in for me very good prices minim £8 fronts and £12 whole house ( good money up here)

Yes I would recommend them however consider they don't replace drop outs as it's a gamble how many you will lose.

Also make sure you detail aby specifics as I made the mistake with the area I asked him to canvass and ended up getting a lot on a council estate which I didn't want. This was my fault tho as I didn't realise it was there amongst the posh houses. Normally he will ask you to supply maps of the area you want.

I will probably use him again later on in the year if I get quiet.
