when i first turn my ro back on after being off for a while it goes upto 100something ppm, due to the settlement of the rubbish in the filters. after letting this flush several times it goes right down to 012ppm. before resin

If your output ppm is lower than 95% of your unput ppm it will be time to change your membrane

my TDS is 250, RO outpu is 10 and DI output is 0.1. I have noticed that after a few months it starts to rise and its time to change the resin. I also get some algae in the DI canister but I have 2 so I clean it with soap and rinse and leave it in the window sill for a few months to dry and kill the algae.

Is your DI in direct sunlight when you purify water?
