I always find it interesting pricing up big jobs like this.

First clean in and out on all windows.

Regular 8 weekly clean on main house windows and modern outbuilding.(not the extension though).

House and extension gutters and fascias cleaned in and out.

Conservatory roof cleaned.

Lastly, cleaning all the grime from the plasterboard on the ceiling in the extension. (Customer did a test patch with sponge and warm water and came up really good).

Where would you come in at?

A rough estimate would say it’s 3m wide by 20m long each side.

Would not have a clue, would need a pen paper pad and calculator just to get my head around it as its such a higeldy pigeldy job. My best suggestion would be work out how long it would take to do and apply a hefty day rate looks a pita to me. I like nice easy two up one downs. Best of luck though charge £££

Dude it’s a whopper of a job, are you doing it on your own? You could be there for 3 days easy! Especially this time of year when its getting dark early...

Around £60 sounds about right to me.

4-450 for the whole job? Or just first clean of windows?

whole job,

conny @ 90

Windows @ 90

gutters @ 200

ceiling @ 70

assuming outside only on conny & Windows and as long as gutters not overflowing. Ceiling educated guess at 20 an hour, only because of value of rest of work, could take longer but can't work out from pic.

Get too greedy and they will probably look elsewhere, how many folk make £500 on a day rate :1f632:
Not every day I grant you but it is quite feasible on jobs like this it’s bespoke work and we charge a premium for that , look at Thomas Sanderson prices for conservatory cleaning there prices start at £1000 , why should we charge any less for the same quality of work , if you dont try you dont get , I have been charging considerably more for awkward jobs I accept we don’t get them all but we do get the vast majority of them I have been quite surprised that a lot are prepared to pay a high price , as an example I have just cleaned a conservatory inside only it was a medium sized one not difficult took 4 hours customer thought £400 was a bargain he said he would of happily paid £500-600 so I shot my self in the foot at 400

I would quote £1000 and cross my fingers that they decline.

Them wooden windows round the back aren't going to be straight forward, would defo swerve the roof bit.

By day rate are you saying £385 a day until completion? Or you think it will only take a day?

My own opinion , to do a good job there and bag the customer on an on going  window clean I would say two days work would be in that place.

I understand  what her saying and I'm all for charging good prices for providing quality work, the op has a chance of an on going window clean at this property which is a nice earner in itself. So my thought on this is get greedy and you could lose the whole lot as its not just a one off job.

I guess it depends also on how busy the OP is. If he hasn't got much on, might aswel do it at reasonable price . Better than being at home with your missus hehe If very busy then up the price and see how it goes. Not losing anything if you're already choca bloc!
